Our Recent Films
“Ubuntu: Kayamandi” – At the center of the story is a boy named Andre, whose tale is a microcosm of the state of South African society.
Born into poverty, Andre ran away from home to beg on the streets. Through Andre’s eyes, we witness the challenges facing a newly democratic nation as it heals its wounds of inequality.
Harbor Light Films received an award at a United Nations ceremony, and it was also featured at a ‘Film Your Issue’ event during the Sundance Film Festival (2007) in Park City, Utah.
“Dad on Fire Blues” — we teamed with Meridian Studios to produce this documentary about one family’s struggle to honor their son’s sacrifice in Iraq while spreading their message about the human cost of war. (Release date Summer ’08)
